SUMMARY:Postdoc Appreciation Week – Welcome, Thank you and Networking
DESCRIPTION:The first event to kickoff Postdoc Appreciation Week! Join the ORT and the UHN Postdoc Association for an event to thank postdocs at UHN, orient you on the events of the week, and network with other postdocs at UHN!\nJoin us on Monday where UHN’s Dr. Brad Wouters, EVP of Science and Research, will kick off the week with a warm welcome. The ORT will then give a brief introduction and outline the wonderful events we have planned for the week, including details on how you can be entered to win a $50 Indigo gift card! You’ll also have an opportunity to learn about the new UHN Postdoc Association and how you can get involved.\nWe will then host a Networking Session for postdocs to meet, get to know and connect with each other. In this 2-h session, postdocs will have an opportunity to share their past and current academic experience, tips for professional development, career plans in the future, as well as hobbies and unique experiences. We hope this can be a good platform for great interactions and help build up peer support in our postdoc community.\nRegister for Postdoc Appreciation Week events here.
