National Post-Doctoral Appreciation Week
Sept. 22nd - 23rd, 2020

The 2020 Postdoc Appreciation Week was virtual this year! There were two panels,
Becoming a PI offering an informative window into the not so straightforward path of becoming a PI. Drs. Amanda Ali (Henry Ford Bone and Joint Institute), Sarah Crome (University of Toronto, UHN) and Anastasia Tikhonova (University of Toronto, UHN, OICR) shared their experiences with us.

Making the Leap to Industry panel was held to help guide post-doctoral fellows to an industry career. Drs. Anton Neshadim and Maurice Shen (Cyclica), and Francine Lu (ProteinQure), shared their own career journey and offered insight to current trainees on how to navigate the challenges and opportunities they may encounter.

For those of you who have not yet had the chance to pick up their "Eat, Sleep, Research, Repeat" mug please email: ort.admin@uhnresearch.ca

Thank you to the speakers for their insights and see you all next year!
