The ORT and a team of PDFs invite you to UHN’s 1st Annual Postdoctoral Research Symposium with Keynote address by UHN Alumni and Assistant Scientist, Henry Ford Health System, Dr. Amanda Ali. 
 
Postdocs are invited to share their research through oral or poster presentations, network, and win prizes throughout the day. General registration is open to all UHN Research employees and trainees.

Rotman Research Institute: Academic Scholarship Writing Workshop

The Rotman Research Institute's Research Training Centre invites graduate students and postdocs to attend their workshop on writing for academic grants and scholarships. The workshop will cover scholarship/grant eligibility, effective application writing, what the evaluation committee is looking for, as well as general tips and tricks from trainees who have successfully secured external funding.

PhD Opportunity: Data and Image Analysis of Arthritis Progression

The Integrative Cartilage Research Group headed by Associate Professor Kathryn Stok at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, The University of Melbourne, and Assistant Professor Andy Kin On Wong in the School Public Health at the University of Toronto are seeking a PhD candidate in Data & Image Analysis of Arthritis Progression. This position is part of a collaboration between the University of Toronto and the University of Melbourne in Australia and will consist of time spent at both institutions.
