Last Call: Applications Open for IDEA/RASI Summer Program

UHN Research's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) Committee is seeking Principal Investigators at all UHN Research Institutes who are interested in hiring an undergraduate summer student from an underrepresented community for summer 2022.
The IDEA Committee is collaborating with the Research Application Support Initiative (RASI) at the University of Toronto, which provides support to students from underrepresented communities in obtaining summer research positions. RASI's program has strong academic scholars with promising potential for research, who often face barriers to accessing research positions.
UHN RASI scholars will participate in a 12-week full-time research program and receive a summer student stipend of approximately $6800. The IDEA committee will provide $1000 for up to ten UHN researchers to subsidize RASI summer student stipends.
