The ORT invites you to a panel Q&A and information sharing session on how to gain professional experience by getting involved. Experienced graduate students and postdocs will share their expertise and insights to help you make the most of your time at UHN.

Information Session: Building a Biotech Venture

Take your first steps toward entrepreneurship with the Building a Biotech Venture program, a program for trainees who are doing regenerative medicine- or precision medicine-related research in labs at U of T and the affiliated hospitals.

Funding Opportunity: Eric and Wendy Schmidt Postdoctoral Fellowship *Application deadline November 21 | 5:00 PM

This Fellowship aims to fund research and provide training in AI and related computational skills. Applicants must hold a degree in a natural sciences or engineering discipline and be associated with at least one primary supervisor with a status or budgetary appointment at the University of Toronto.

EUROIMMUN Internship and Awards Program
Apply by December 20th

The medical diagnostics company EUROIMMUN is launching an internship and awards program to support graduate students who aspire to be clinician scientists or medical diagnosis researchers.

The internship will consist of 2 to 3 months at EURIMMUN Canada or 2 to 4 weeks at EUROIMMUN Germany (in-person) doing specific EUROIMMUN diagnostic instruments training. This internship can be done virtually for some courses.

Congratulations to Zhe "Tim" Wu on receiving an ORT Conference Participation Award!

Dr. Wu is a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Kamil Uludag's BRAIN-TO lab at Techna Institute. His research interest is fast imaging and motion correction methodologies for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

Congratulations to Sofia Melliou on receiving an ORT Conference Participation Award!

Sofia is a PhD candidate in Dr. Phedias Diamandis' lab at the Princess Margaret Cancer Research Tower. Sofia studies how protein signatures are changing during human brain development by creating mini 3D brain structures.
