Funding Opportunity: Eric and Wendy Schmidt Postdoctoral Fellowship

This Fellowship aims to fund research and provide training in AI and related computational skills. Applicants must hold a degree in a natural sciences or engineering discipline and be associated with at least one primary supervisor with a status or budgetary appointment at the University of Toronto.

Michener Insitute: Imaging Informatics Certificate Program

Applications are now open for Michenerā€™s Imaging Informatics Certificate Program. The program incorporates 4 online theoretical courses and a 4-week, full-time practicum; study on your own time and complete the online portion in only 12 months! Come join the first and only Imaging Informatics program in Canada that offers hands-on practical experience!

Deadline to apply is Nov 18, 2022. Course starts on Jan 9, 2023.

EUROIMMUN Internship and Awards Program
Apply by December 20th

The medical diagnostics company EUROIMMUN is launching an internship and awards program to support graduate students who aspire to be clinician scientists or medical diagnosis researchers.

The internship will consist of 2 to 3 months at EURIMMUN Canada or 2 to 4 weeks at EUROIMMUN Germany (in-person) doing specific EUROIMMUN diagnostic instruments training. This internship can be done virtually for some courses.

COMMUNITY
Every month UHN STEM Pathways recognizes the outreach work of one our volunteers. For October, we acknowledge the contributions of Matheus Saraiva de Morais.
Matheus was part of an exciting panel held for World Heart Day. He facilitated an activity where youth learned how to tie a surgical knot from their homes. This activity has since been viewed on YouTube by over 400 people!
