Congratulations Shahrzad!
Dr. Shahrzad Nouri works in Dr. Viswanathan's lab at Krembil. She did her Ph.D. in the Faculty of Dentistry at U of T and has a bioengineering background in dental diseases. Her current research focuses on developing novel immunotherapies for chronic joint inflammation and the intersection of the gut microbiome and osteoarthritis progression.

Atoosa Ziyaeyan is a Ph.D. student in Dr. Sowmya Viswanathan's lab at the Shroeder Research Institute. She studies the link between the gut microbiome and knee osteoarthritis.
