Congratulations Rafaela Ribeiro!
Rafaela is a PhD student in Dr. Marcelo Cypel's lab. Rafaela's studies focus on treating cytomegalovirus in human lungs using the innovative ex-vivo lung perfusion platform to clear the virus before transplantation, which can impact quality of life and survival in transplant recipients.

Congratulations Josh Rosen!
Josh is a PhD candidate in Dr. Ming-Sound Tsao's lab. Using patient-derived xenograft and organoid models, Josh studies resistance mechanisms of non-small cell lung cancers with KRAS-mutations to the novel class of KRASG12C inhibitors. Josh plans to develop combination strategies to overcome this tumor resistance.
