Congratulations Joanna Cunanan on receiving a Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship (CGS-D) !
Joanna is a PhD student in Dr. Moumita Barua's lab at TGHRI. Joanna studies renal stem cell-mediated regeneration of damaged kidney cells in a form of chronic kidney disease called Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). Joanna was ranked #2 out of 500 nominated PhD students in the national competition.
