Congratulations Shaghayegh (Shay) Chavosian on receiving the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute Student Scholarship!
Shay is a second year PhD candidate at SleepdB lab at Toronto Rehab Institute. Her research interests lie in understanding the pathophysiological link between obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and asthma, as well as exploring how various treatments and technologies could aid in asthma management.
Congratulations Ali Abedi on receiving the ORT Conference Award! 
Ali Abedi is a postdoctoral researcher at KITE-UHN. With Drs. Shehroz Khan and Tracey Colella, he's developing the AVA project, an AI-driven Virtual rehabilitation platform equipped with an intelligent Avatar providing rehab services to cardiovascular and stroke patients within the comfort of their homes.
