Every month UHN STEM Pathways recognizes the outreach work of our volunteers. For February we acknowledge the contributions of Majed Abdul-Samad. Majed is a research trainee at TGHRI who has been an essential member of our outreach team. He has helped with numerous youth events and most recently, taken the lead on organizing an on-site workshop for youth. This undertaking involved recruiting volunteers from his lab and planning an interactive atherosclerosis workshop for high school students. We are grateful to have him on the team!
