Congratulations to Courtney Irwin on receiving the Canadian Neurodevelopmental Research Training Platform Fellowship!
Courtney is a PhD student in Dr. Karun Singh’s lab at UHN’s Donald K. Johnson Eye Institute. She is currently working on a project exploring how peripheral nervous system alterations may play a role in the onset of sensory dysfunction associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) using a stem cell-derived 3D neural organoid model.
