Congratulations Kristen Ashworth on receiving the Vision Science Research Program Doctoral Research Award!
Kristen Ashworth is a PhD student in Dr. Brian Ballios' lab at Krembil's Donald K. Johnson Eye Institute. Her research focuses on developing a human-based retinal organoid model using patient-derived stem cells to study cell therapies for inherited retinal diseases.
