Every month UHN STEM Pathways recognizes the outreach work of our volunteers. For November we acknowledge the outreach efforts of Ian Fernandes, a Scientific Associate at the McEwen Stem Cell Institute. Ian’s contributions during his time as an Outreach Ambassador have been invaluable – with numerous events facilitated and overwhelmingly positive feedback from students. He has inspired within youth newfound interest in the field of stem cell research, and we are grateful for his contributions.
