A four-panel comic titled 'Cell Viability Assay' by Vicky Chou. In the first panel, two green, glowing cells excitedly tell each other 'Hey! You're glowing!' and 'Look! So are you!'. In the second panel, they ask about another cell named Steve. In the third panel, Steve appears as a dark, shriveled cell, while the two glowing cells look sad. In the fourth panel, a scientist in a lab coat, holding a clipboard and looking into a microscope, says, 'Looks like about 60% viability.' The comic humorously illustrates the concept of a cell viability assay, where live cells glow while dead cells do not.
