Welcome to the ORT's new Communications Assistant, Crizza Ching!
Crizza is a PhD candidate supervised by Drs. Jason Fish and Dinesh Thavendiranathan at the Toronto General Hospital Research Institute. Crizza’s research focus is on cardio-oncology or the crossroads of cancer and cardiovascular disease, particularly trying to understand how cancer treatment leads to heart failure. Crizza is an experienced communicator who aspires to make research and resources more accessible and impactful through thoughtful writing and storytelling to help empower the next generation of scientists.

UHN Summer Training and Research (STAR) Program
The UHN Summer Training and Research (STAR) Program is a dynamic program for UHN summer students to develop research and professional skills through interactive learning sessions and a research day. Summer students must register with the ORT to participate.

Graduate students, postdocs, and staff are invited to participate in the program as speakers or facilitators for learning sessions and poster judges for research day.
