Portrait of Mark Gower with text recognizing him as a recipient of the ALSF Young Investigator Grant. He is identified as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
Congratulations Dr. Mark Gower on receiving the ALSF Young Investigator Grant!
Mark is a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Anastasia Tikhonova's lab at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. His research aims to characterize how T acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells reshape the bone marrow microenvironment to escape immune cell destruction and gain chemotherapy resistance. Outside the lab, Mark has a passion for cooking, a task that offers greater flexibility in deviation from the recipe and more immediate results than most lab work.
