Joanna is a PhD student in the lab of Dr. Moumita Barua at the Toronto General Hospital Research Institute. Joanna's research is focused on understanding how mutations in the PAX2 gene lead to impaired regeneration in chronic kidney disease, with the ultimate goal of advancing therapeutic development.

JUST FOR FUN
