During Postdoc Appreciation Week, the ORT and UHN Postdoc Association (UHNPA) hosted the 3rd annual UHN Postdoc Symposium, featuring outstanding research talks by UHN postdocs, a panel on translating research for impact, and networking. Congratulations to Drs. Sarasa Tohyama, Rochelle Furtado, Juma Orach, and Anusha Kamesh (pictured above, left to right) for receiving awards for best talks!

Thank you to everyone who presented, shared ideas, and joined the discussions—and a special thanks to UHNPA for their tremendous work in organizing this successful event!

CDI Grant Challenge: From AI Algorithm to Implementation
The Cancer Digital Intelligence (CDI) Grand Challenge supports bold, innovative, and high-impact projects that involve AI or address the risks of adopting AI in cancer care. Trainees and postdocs are eligible to apply as an applicant or collaborator, but at least one of the applicants must have a faculty appointment as a scientist or clinician at UHN.

Congratulations, Megan George, on receiving the CAN-TAP-TALENT Award!
Megan George is a doctoral candidate working under the supervision of Drs. Gary Rodin and Stephanie Lheureux at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Megan's study is dedicated to investigating the feasibility of a proactive approach to delivering a psychotherapeutic intervention known as Managing Cancer And Living Meaningfully (CALM).
