AstraZeneca/PoC Mentoring Program
The AstraZeneca/Partner of Choice (PoC) Network Mentoring Program is a year-long program that connects cancer researchers in training with AstraZeneca mentors to broaden awareness of industry career paths, expand professional networks, and support the transition to the next stage of their careers. Princess Margaret graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career MDs are eligible to apply.
To apply, submit a CV and a brief personal statement outlining your goals for participating in the program, how mentoring will help you achieve them, and examples of your diverse experiences (i.e., community outreach and teamwork/collaboration) to Sergio Raez-Villaneuva and Celeste Yu.

AACR-CIHR Scholar-in-Training Awards
The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR)-CIHR Scholar-in-Training Awards support graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in presenting their research at the AACR Annual Meeting. Recipients will receive complementary conference registration, a stipend towards travel, subsistence expenses, and poster printing costs. Congratulations, Dr. Nabangshu Das, on receiving the Arthritis Society of Canada Postdoctoral Fellowship Award!
Dr. Nabangshu Das is a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Mohit Kapoor’s lab at the UHN Research Institutes. His research focuses on understanding the role of synovial macrophage subtypes in driving inflammation and fibrosis in knee osteoarthritis using multiome-based epigenomic and transcriptomic approaches.
