University of Toronto Early Stage Technology Program
The University of Toronto Early Stage Technology (UTEST) Program is an early-stage commercialization program for researchers, postdoctoral researchers, and trainees interested in translating their ideas into ventures. Running from June to December 2026, the program offers intensive educational programs, entrepreneurship training, business education, and hands-on support for venture development. Eligible teams may receive $10,000 in non-dilutive funding. 

Connect with UHN commercialization (commercialization@uhn.ca) before applying for application support and to align with UHN processes.

Congratulations, Tasnia Nabil, on receiving the SOAR (Showcasing Outstanding Achievement in Research) Conference 3MT Award (Judge's & People's Choice)!
Tasnia Nabil is a first-year PhD student in Dr. José Zariffa's lab at the UHN Research Institutes. Tasnia's work focuses on decoding peripheral nerve interface signals using deep learning for neuroprosthetic applications.
