UHN Walk Safe and Call Safe Programs
UHN Security Operations offers two safety programs to protect UHN staff, students, and volunteers. The Walk Safe program provides a security escort for individuals travelling to and from UHN sites. The Call Safe program offers hourly safety check-in calls for individuals working alone or in high-risk situations.

Congratulations to Dr. Verdi Vanreusel on being a finalist for the European Society High Scientific Council PhD Award.
Dr. Verdi Vanreusel is a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Jan Seuntjens’ lab at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. His work focuses on the development of an innovative compact particle accelerator for radiotherapy.
