The UHN Office of Research Trainees (ORT) is excited to be hosting a hands-on in-person workshop for UHN trainees and postdoctoral researchers to build foundational skills in R, using the Carpentries curriculum.

The workshop will be led by instructors trained through the Carpentries Instructor Training Program!

Dates & Times:

• Session 1: January 28, 2026, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM
• Session 2: February 4, 2026, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM

Spots are limited, and participants must commit to attending both sessions when registering! The workshop is open only to UHN trainees and postdoctoral researchers.

Participants must bring their own computer, and both sessions will be held in the Ontario Power Building (700 University Ave.). Room details will be provided to registrants in advance of the workshop.
