Join the UHN Office of Research Trainees (ORT) for a virtual information session on August 6, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM to learn about exciting career development opportunities through the Biomanufacturing Hub Network (BioHubNet) — a new talent development program designed to build an industry-ready workforce for Canada’s Biomanufacturing and Life Science Sector. Through UHN’s partnership with BioHubNet, UHN graduate students, postdocs and research staff have access to BioHubNet’s partner-only programs, including training, internship, networking and funding opportunities!

This session will introduce you to BioHubNet’s three core programs (ENGAGE, EXPERIENCE, and EQUIP), each offering unique opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experiences. Don’t miss this chance to discover how BioHubNet can help guide your next career steps into industry roles within the biomanufacturing and life sciences sectors!

BioHubNet’s core programs include:

  • ENGAGE: Over 50 on-demand, industry-relevant training courses and mentorship opportunities – Open to graduate students, postdocs, and research staff
  • EXPERIENCE: Hands-on, immersive learning opportunities , including paid internships – Open to graduate students and postdocs
  • EQUIP: Commercialization support and funding opportunities to build biomanufacturing innovations – Open to graduate students and postdocs
