Join the UHN Office of Research Trainees for a virtual 90-minute interactive workshop on February 26, 2026, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm designed to help trainees and postdoctoral researchers build clear, targeted resumes and cover letters that align with the role they’re interested in. Led by experienced Talent Acquisition professional and career coach Misha Miranda, participants will learn how to brand themselves, use AI to support their job search, and strategically position their experience for today’s job market.
We’ll walk through each section of the resume – from profile to experience, skills, and projects – showing how to concert academic CVs into focused resumes and transform detailed research statements into strong, impact-driven bullet points. You’ll learn how to tailor content, highlight transferable skills, and strengthen your professional story for different opportunities.
Participants will also gain practical cover letter frameworks and job search strategies to increase visibility and response rates. The session wraps up with a live Q&A, offering personalized guidance so you can apply what you learn right away.
This session is free and open to all members of TeamUHN.
