Congratulations to Ximing Li on receiving an ORT Conference Participation Award!

Ximing is a PhD student in Drs. Anastasia Tikhonova and Thomas Kislinger's labs in the Princess Margret Cancer Center elucidating the effects of chemotherapy on the bone marrow hematopoietic niche. Outside of the lab, she actively participates in the Women in Science Initiative, an student committee established at the University of Toronto, aiming to build a networking between senior female scientists and research trainees to promote the success of women in academia.

Congratulations Ximing!

Congratulations to Aleksandra Stanimirovic on receiving an ORT Conference Participation Award!

Aleksandra is a postdoctoral fellow supervised by Dr. Valeria E. Rac at Toronto General Hospital Research Institute. She is currently involved in several mixed method studies focused on evaluation of interventions for prevention and management of chronic diseases. Her research focuses on health services utilization, economic models, quality of care and patient outcomes as related to chronic disease management. In addition, Aleksandra’s interests focus on policy interventions designed to improve the overall quality of care for Canadians, to improve patients' experiences of care, to achieve better value for money and to design innovative ways to integrate health care between hospital and community providers.

Congratulations Aleksandra!
