Congratulations Robert Lao on the CIHR Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship!
Robert Lao is an MD-PhD student currently completing a PhD degree in the labs of Dr. Mansoor Husain at TGHRI and Dr. Osami Honjo at SickKids. Robert’s primary research focus is on developing and characterizing large animal models of pediatric cardiovascular surgery, and utilizing them to investigate cardioprotective agents.
