COMMUNITY

Every month UHN STEM Pathways recognizes the outreach work of our volunteers. For March we acknowledge the contributions of Carla Kulcsar. Carla is a research trainee at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, supervised by Dr. Lothar Lilge. She has been instrumental in supporting Dr. Lilge’s laser workshop, helping to facilitate this exciting physics activity for students visiting UHN. Carla has done an excellent job communicating how high school physics relates to real-world applications (e.g., the use of light in medical diagnostics and treatment). We are grateful to have her on the team!
