University Health Network (UHN) is looking for an experienced professional to fill the key role of  Postdoctoral Fellow in our Schroeder Arthritis Institute to conduct cutting edge biomarker and therapeutic target exploration research using high throughput techniques (such as RNA sequencing and single-cell sequencing) in animal models of osteoarthritis as well as human OA biospecimens.

Competency in animal models of osteoarthritis and comic technologies is required. Strong communication and scientific writing skills for contributing to manuscript publication and grant writing is vital.

Qualifications:

  • PhD awarded within past 5 years
  • Has published peer-reviewed articles in the field of osteoarthritis
  • Prior expertise in osteoarthritis research, animal models of osteoarthritis, and osteoarthritis histopathology required.
  • Excellent understanding of the molecular disease pathology of osteoarthritis considered a distinct advantage.
