Postdoctoral Fellowship – Princess Margaret Cancer Research Institute

The Ailles Lab at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre is seeking an ambitious and experienced cell and molecular biologist to work in a translational research environment to characterize cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in high-grade serous ovarian cancer. The applicant will explore key aspects of CAF biology, including mechanisms of CAF ability to promote cancer cell invasion and therapy resistance, and epigenetic regulation of the CAF state (see Hussain et al for previous work on this project).

Qualifications:

  • Strong experimental skills in: cell culture, molecular biology, flow cytometry, epigenetics.
  • Additional skills in image analysis, stem cell and primary cell culture would be an asset.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong organizational, team and communication skills.
