An opening is available for a post-doctoral fellow to work at KITE | Toronto Rehab | University Health Network (Lyndhurst Centre location). We are seeking a candidate with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities. The project involves the use of electromyography, machine learning and functional electrical stimulation in the rehabilitation of upper limb function after cervical spinal cord injury. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of researchers and clinicians.

The ideal candidate will have been awarded their PhD within the past 5 years as well as have expertise in rehabilitation, neuroscience, electromyography, and functional or neuromuscular electrical stimulation. Experience interacting with patients and healthcare professionals will be considered a strong asset. The expected start date is July 1st 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter, for a 2 to 3 year term.

Length of Position: Temporary Full-time (2 – 3 years)
