University Health Network (UHN) is looking for an experienced professional to fill key role of Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Spinal Rehabilitation

A Physical Therapy postdoctoral fellowship position is available for 1-2 years in the Neural Engineering and Therapeutics Team at the Lyndhurst Centre, TRI-UHN. The position will involve research related to mobility assessments and interventions for patients with spinal cord impairment. Important clinical resources include: A high volume of inpatients and outpatients with SCI, a specialized SCI neurorehabilitation program, a longitudinal follow-up database, onsite body composition, neurophysiology, electrophysiology, kinematic, cardiovascular, autonomic, postural and locomotion assessment areas throughout the centre. Psychiatry, rehabilitation engineering, physical and occupational therapy are all strong services, each linked to the University of Toronto, which is an exemplary designated academic teaching hospital. but are not mandatory requirements.
