This position is available in the Serghides Lab at the Toronto General Hospital Research Institute. This lab focuses on maternal and infant health in the context of HIV infection and HIV antiretroviral therapy. This lab is currently seeking a hardworking and self-motivated PhD graduate to investigate the impact of in utero HIV antiretroviral exposure on neurodevelopment.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in neuroscience or related discipline received within the past 5 years
  • Experience in histology (including tissue processing), immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, microscopy and molecular/cellular techniques
  • Prior experience with mouse models, mouse behavior testing and mouse neuroanatomical investigations would be considered an asset

Length of Position: Temporary Full-time (1 year)
