Elyse Digby, PhD
Elyse Digby is a University of Toronto graduate, with a PhD in Organic/Biological Chemistry, focusing oncology research. She completed an NSERC post-doctoral fellowship at UHN at Princess Margaret Hospital, with a focus on preclinical hematology-oncology research. From there, she worked as a Medical Affairs Associate at GSK and currently has an MSL role at Novartis, both in the therapeutic area of hematology-oncology.

Chris Zealey, MSc
Chris has close to a decade of experience in medical strategy and strategic communications, with expertise in developing scientific narratives and communication resources, cross-functional and medical strategy, stakeholder engagement and insight generation. His focus is serving as a strategic and scientific partner to organizations launching new therapies or entering new disease areas. Recently, his work has focused on various rare disease indication launches and in-line therapy strategic planning.

Shreya Dhume, PhD
Shreya Dhume is a Associate Medical Writer in the Medical Communications industry, where she leverages a strong background in neuroscience and clinical research to develop scientific content that supported patient care. Shreya brings over seven years of research experience in neurodegenerative diseases, HIV, and autism spectrum disorders. In her current role, Shreya specialize in translating complex scientific data into clear, accurate, and well-structured medical documents tailored for clinical and pharmaceutical audiences. Prior to this, Shreya worked as a postdoctoral researcher and laboratory manager at the University Health Network’s Toronto General Hospital Research Institute (UHN TGHRI).

Leif Simmatis, PhD
Leif Simmatis completed his PhD in neuroscience at Queen’s University and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the KITE Research Institute, University Health Network. He is currently the Associate Director (Psychometrics) at Evinova.
