Peer-to-Peer Workshop: Creating Award-Winning Poster Presentations

July 30, 2024 | 1:00-3:00 PM

The UHN Office of Research Trainees (ORT) and Krembil postdoctoral researcher Alessandra Tuccitto invite you to an engaging and informative Peer-to-Peer workshop titled “Creating Award-Winning Poster Presentations” on July 30, 2024, in room 4KD503 of the Krembil Discovery Tower (60 Leonard Ave). This event is designed to elevate your poster presentation skills and enhance your ability to effectively communicate your research.

The workshop will feature presentations by current and former Krembil graduate students who have won past poster competitions. They will share their insights, strategies, and tips on what makes a poster stand out!

Our presenters:

  • Dr. Laura Whittall Garcia, Clinical Fellow and recent MSc graduate
  • Zi Xuan Zhang, PhD Candidate, Schroeder Arthritis Institute
  • Victor Pham Truong, MSc Student, Donald K. Johnson Eye Institute

Following the presentations, there will be a dynamic Q&A session where you can ask the speakers about their experiences and gather advice. Additionally, attendees are encouraged to bring posters (past or in progress) to receive peer feedback!

Whether you’re preparing your first poster presentation or looking to refine your skills, this workshop is an excellent opportunity to learn from your peers who have successfully navigated this process. Don’t miss out on this chance to take your posters to the next level!

This event is free and open to all UHN trainees and postdocs. Registration for the event is now full. If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please email ortadmin@uhn.ca.

This workshop will be recorded and shared with members of the waitlist and event registrants.
