Dr. Shabana Amanda Ali has an interdisciplinary research background in musculoskeletal biology, with over 12 years of experience in osteoarthritis. Her current research as a Postdoctoral Fellow with Dr. Mohit Kapoor at the Krembil Research Institute focuses on applying next generation sequencing to identify novel biomarkers for osteoarthritis. Next-Generation Sequencing has revolutionized life sciences research. This workshop will focus on how it can be used to study MircoRNA.
At the end of the workshop, learners will be able to:

- Describe the steps in microRNA library preparation.
