Dr. Trang Hong Au (she/her): Dr. Trang Hong Au completed a Doctorate in Pharmacy and a Masters Degree in Public Health, in the area of epidemiology. Before starting in medical communications, she worked in academia and as a clinical pharmacist specializing in hematology/oncology. She has always been interested in medical communication and how this transpires among health care providers and patients. Dr. Au thinks it is important to communicate well, especially with the abundance of data and information that is now available.
Dr. Stephanie Heyraud (she/her): After completing a PhD in cell biology, Dr. Stephanie Heyraud joined a lab in the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute at Mount Sinai in Toronto for a 4-year post-doc. Since Ishe left the bench almost 10 years ago, she has been working in medical communications in various roles including patient and medical education, scientific event organization, and training development. Along the way, she furthered my education with a certificate in adult learning and specialized in learning strategy.
