The UHN Postdoc Association’s Professional Development Team is proud to launch the “Postdoc Talks” seminar Series!
The first Postdoc Talks will be given by Dr. Nooshin Bahador, Postdoctoral Researcher at Krembil Research Institute.
Seizures can be unpredictable and difficult to manage, but what if there is a way to predict when they are coming? Join us for a talk on one of the latest studies which may hold the key to predicting seizures before they happen. Learn about the signs to watch for and the ways in which we can intervene before a seizure becomes full-blown. Don’t miss out!
Speaker Bio: Nooshin works at the Neural Systems and Brain Signal Processing Lab where she develops machine learning algorithms for analyzing brain signals. Her expertise areas are graphing data science, predictive analytics, data visualization, signal processing and machine learning. She also enjoys mentoring students and divulging science.
