R Programming for Beginners Workshop
Software Carpentry aims to help researchers get their work done in less time and with less pain by teaching them basic research computing skills. This hands-on workshop will cover basic concepts and tools, including program design, version control, data management, and task automation in R programming language. Participants will be encouraged to help one another and to apply what they have learned to their own research problems.
The UHN Postdoc Association and Office of Research Trainees are delighted to offer a Data Carpentries workshop on Programming in R (R-novice inflammation). No previous programming or R experience is required. View the workshop schedule, course materials, and instructions on Github here.
Spots are limited as the workshop involves hands-on instruction from Carpentries instructors and helpers. This workshop is only open to UHN trainees. Please only register if you are available for the full day of instruction on May 24th, 2022.
