Looking to update your résumé for industry positions? Join us for a session with Career Exploration & Education to learn strategies and tips to build your job application materials. This seminar is targeted towards graduate students and postdoctoral fellows who are interested in planning the next steps in their careers.
Learning objectives:
At the end of this workshop, learners will be able to:
1. Analyze a job description in order to craft an effective targeted résumé
2. Identify your transferable skills to create strong accomplishment statements
3. Develop a captivating résumé with a strong professional brand
4. Optional Bonus Activity (3:15 – 3:45 pm): Participate in a résumé review for personalized feedback! You will need to bring a digital copy of your working résumé (does not need to be finalized) and be ready to share it with your peers.
