Dr. Aisha Shamas-Din, Science and Medical Content Writer. Aisha holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Health Sciences from McMaster University.  Aisha has more than 6 years of experience in scientific writing and content creation in academia and business. She works one-on-one with researchers and writes and edits scientific manuscripts and grants, and creates digital content for industry, hospitals, and small-businesses.

Description

By now you have spent many days (and nights!) in the lab to finish your project. You know that the next step is to publish the story but you are struggling with scientific writing. In this workshop, you will learn to effectively communicate your research findings to maximize the success of your project. The focus will be on structuring your findings, drafting an outline, crafting clear and concise writing, and avoiding common pitfalls.
