The UHN Postdoc Association (UHNPA) and the Office of Research Trainees (ORT) are hosting an academic-industry networking event on November 2, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
Bridging the Gap: Academic-Industry Networking Event offers a unique opportunity for Postdoctoral Researchers and Graduate Students at UHN to foster meaningful connections and facilitate knowledge exchange between academia and industry professionals. Through engaging roundtable discussions and open networking, this event aims to bridge the gap between these two sectors to learn about diverse career opportunities. The event will feature professionals from a wide range of sectors including Biotech and Pharma, Medical and Regulatory Affairs, R&D/Clinical Research, and Data Science!

- Opening Remarks: 6:00 – 6:10 PM
- Roundtable Session 1: 6:10 – 6:40 PM
- Roundtable Session 2: 6:40 – 7:10 PM
- Open Networking: 7:10 – 7:50 PM
- Closing Remarks: 7:50 – 8:00 PM
The registration fee for the event is $5.00 + HST and is open to all trainees and postdoctoral researchers at UHN. All event registrants are asked to make sure they have read and agree to abide by the ORT’s Code of Conduct.
