Career Webinar on Management Consulting

The MBP CDA will be hosting a career webinar with MBP alums and management consultants, Vinayak Bhandari, Tonny Huang, and Nina Wang. An introduction to management consulting will be presented, followed by a panel in which we will field all your questions about consulting. Vinayak Bhandari’s biography:
Vinayak is a Consultant and Senior Data Scientist at Boston Consulting Group. Since joining BCG in 2019, Vinayak has worked on strategy and advanced analytics engagements with nonprofit and large multinational organizations. Prior to joining BCG, Vinayak completed his PhD with Dr. Paul Boutros and Dr. Rob Bristow at the University of Toronto. He used computational methods to study prostate cancers that have low levels of oxygen, defined the genetics of these tumours and developed biological signatures that can predict which patients have aggressive prostate cancer. During his PhD he also spent time at the University of Oxford’s Big Data Institute, merging UK and Canadian efforts to study prostate cancer.

Tonny Huang’s biography:
Tonny joined Kearney in 2019 shortly after graduating from the Department of Medical Biophysics as a senior business analyst. Currently an associate, he has worked on many different types of consulting engagements, including commercial due diligence, performance transformations, and organizational change management in consumer industries.

Nina Wang’s biography:
Nina pursued her undergraduate education and MSc degree at the University of Toronto in Medical Biophysics. Her passion for data analytics led to her to join Novantas, a management consulting firm specialized in analytic advisory services and technology solutions for financial institutions.
